Refund Policy
This policy explains when EnVenn subscription charges are and are not normally refundable, while preserving any rights that apply by law.
Last updated 14 August 2026
EnVenn subscriptions are purchased through Paddle, which acts as merchant of record for the transaction. Paddle's buyer terms and refund rules also apply to purchases made through its checkout. This policy does not exclude, restrict or modify any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
1. Trial and change-of-mind refunds
Where EnVenn offers a free trial, it is intended to give you an opportunity to assess whether the service is suitable before paid billing begins. The trial period and the date paid billing will begin are shown in the applicable product or Paddle checkout.
EnVenn does not normally provide refunds simply because you change your mind, decide you no longer need the service, do not use the service during a paid period, or forget to cancel before a charge or renewal. Cancellation affects future billing according to the timing shown in Paddle's subscription management flow; it does not by itself make an already completed charge refundable.
2. If EnVenn does not work as represented
If a material EnVenn feature or capability represented as included in your subscription is not provided or is not functioning as it should, contact us with enough detail to investigate the problem. Where the law permits, we may first try to correct or re-perform the affected service within a reasonable time.
Depending on the nature and seriousness of the problem, the terms of the purchase and applicable law, the appropriate remedy may include a fix or re-performance, a credit, cancellation, or a partial or full refund. EnVenn will not use this policy to deny a remedy that you are legally entitled to receive.
3. Australian Consumer Law
Where the Australian Consumer Law applies, consumer guarantees cannot be excluded by a refund policy. A service that has a major problem can give the consumer rights that include cancelling the service contract and receiving a refund for the unconsumed part of the service. A smaller problem may instead require the service to be fixed or supplied again within a reasonable time.
Australian consumer guarantees do not generally require a business to provide a refund merely because a customer has changed their mind.
4. Examples that do not normally qualify for a refund
- changing your mind after paid billing has started;
- not using some or all of a paid subscription period;
- forgetting to cancel before a scheduled renewal;
- deciding that a disclosed product limitation or excluded feature no longer suits your organisation; or
- a problem caused by your own configuration, misuse or an unsupported use of the service, where EnVenn itself has provided the subscribed service as represented.
These examples do not override any mandatory statutory right that applies in the circumstances.
5. Requesting a refund or other remedy
Contact EnVenn using the details below and include the organisation name, the relevant charge or invoice information, and a description of the problem. Do not send full payment-card details.
Email contact@envenn.app.
Because Paddle is the merchant of record, any refund that is approved or required is processed through Paddle rather than being paid directly by EnVenn to your card or bank account.
6. Paddle terms
Paddle's own buyer terms and refund policy may provide additional statutory or discretionary refund rights depending on the transaction and the buyer's location. Those Paddle terms apply in addition to this policy.
